Firm seeks Glaswegian interpreter
A translation company is looking to recruit Glaswegian interpreters to help business clients who are baffled by the local dialect. Today Translations placed an advert in The Herald newspaper on Tuesday seeking speakers of "Glaswegian English". Successful candidates, who could earn up to £140 a day, must understand "vocabulary, accent and nuances".
The firm said, so far, 30 people had applied for the positions - some of them in Glaswegian.

Thanks you for the lovely link. Thank you for your life's work. I must apologise for my forthcoming pathological mean-spiritedness. This pedant's hat is an uncomfortable monkey on my back, and I realise that the Scottish spelling is in your blood, but "whisky"? No, the Irish stuff is "whiskey". I'm so sorry.

I hadn't seen the previous one you posted, with Robert Carlyle, but this one seems to be playing constantly on TV here in the states, at least in the Chicago area. It's not bad, but as with anything you see several dozen times, you get tired of it quickly.
